Duke Cancer Network - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
The Duke Cancer Network has affiliate relationships with a number of hospitals in North Carolina. The provider and administrative team support patient care and operations of five oncology clinics at these affiliate hospitals with locations in Smithfield/Clayton, Henderson, Laurinburg and Lumberton.
We are seeking an experienced oncology Advanced Practice Provider with a passion for caring for oncology patients in these communities to work with a team and manage patient care in an outpatient setting, participate in clinical trials, provide education and collaborate to identify opportunities to improve the program. The APP will work at full scope of practice and provide support for DCN consultative services at remote affiliate organizations. This position provides an opportunity to grow professionally through DCN’s clinical practice model, as well as actively participate in clinical research and educational programs.
As a member of the provider team based in Durham, NC, the APP will travel to DCN affiliated sites to provide patient care with travel coordinated and paid by DCN.
The position requires completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or PA Program at the Master’s level. Preference will be given to candidates with prior oncology experience.
