Duke's Division of Emergency Medicine is seeking a physician to join their expanding faculty as the daytime provider in our 11-bed Clinical Observation Unit (CEU).  Duke University Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center with over 80,000 visits annually, a state-of-the-art facility, an EM residency program, and an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider residency.  The CEU itself cares for 250-350 patients per month under one of our 50+ different treatment protocols and is nationally recognized as a leader in Emergency Department-based Observation Medicine.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and innovative faculty group in an outstanding, and world class healthcare system.

Candidates must be Internal Medicine, Medicine / Pediatrics, or Emergency Medicine residency trained, board certified/eligible, and have a keen interest in being part of a teaching and learning community.
