Duke Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a BE/BC Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our growing practice.  The Department has long tradition of providing world-class women’s health care and leveraging academic and community partnerships to provide the highest quality reproductive health care to women in our local communities and around the world.  Duke MIGS provides extraordinary care at our locations in both Durham and Raleigh, NC.  Duke’s community-based practices in Raleigh allow our physicians to focus on meeting the clinical needs of the patient population in the fastest growing metro area in North Carolina.  

Duke Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, is comprised of three board certified MIGS specialists, and a dedicated and highly trained clinical staff.  The Durham clinic has eight exam rooms and two procedure rooms and is closely proximate to Duke Regional Hospital.  The Raleigh office has nine exam rooms and two procedure rooms and is adjacent to the Duke Raleigh Hospital campus.  The selected physician will have 4.5 clinical or OR days/week.  An interest in clinical research will be considered a favorable quality. 

The successful candidate will have completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, be board certified/board eligible, have a demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care and have an interest in teaching. Clinical skills should include the full depth and breadth of basic and complex benign gynecologic conditions.  Teaching responsibilities may involve educating medical students, as well as OB/GYN residents or fellows.  Attendance at the Department’s weekly education morning is also expected.
